The 30th IFLA World Congress will be held in Abuja in Nigeria, 22nd to 27th of August, 1993. As usual an international student competition will be arranged. The student department of the Nigerian Organizing Committee plan to arrange another student jambore as the successful one in Korea ’92. The committee try to make the accomodation as cheap as possible, preferably free.
The international Association of Landscape Architect Students (IALAS) try to organize a meeting in Nigeria, in advance of the Grand Council, for exchange of experiences and ideas and to discuss the further life of IALAS. The IFLA International Conference will be held in Cape Town, South Africa right after the World Congress, at the 31st of August to the 3rd of September, 1993. Look out for further info.
