HOW TO TAKE PART?

Who?

ELASA welcomes Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD students from all fields connected to landscape architecture. This includes landscape and environmental planning, urban design, landscape management, ecology and restoration, planting design and landscape heritage. Students who graduated within the last two years are also eligible to apply.

How?

For every meeting, the hosting country opens an application process that is accessible to all landscape architecture students in Europe.

The process usually follows these steps:

1) Open call

The hosting team publishes an application call with dates, theme, programme outline and fee information.

2) Application

Application for the meeting can include a short motivation letter explaining why one wants to participate, how they connect to the theme and what they hope to contribute.

3) Selection

As the spots are limited, the hosting team selects participants based on motivation, interest and a balanced representation of different countries.

In most years, this results in 3–4 participants per country, depending on overall capacity.

4) Confirmation

Selected participants receive an email with all necessary information, including payment details, travel tips, packing recommendations and accommodation notes.
